"The Stables" is a converted and re-furbished stable block and the gallery, which is situated in the stables, still retains many of its original features including the wooden stalls and feeding troughs, thus making it an interesting and unique venue in which to stage art exhibitions.
There is also the "The Hayloft", a large room for hire on the first floor, above the gallery, overlooking the park and beautifull walled garden, suitable for meetings, presentations, lectures and rehearsals etc. The Stables is a tremendous asset to have in the park, not only for its arts programme but as a centre for use by the community. The GPCC hold their meetings at the Stables in the Hayloft and The Madhatters Theatre Club use it for their rehearsals on a regular basis.
The Brent Camera Club meets at the Stables using both the Hayloft and darkroom facilities that are available. Anyone at any level of photography is welcome to join, for more detailed information of the club and its meetings contact Mark Cummins on 020 8964 0423.
