Healthy Walks Programme Gladstone Park

April 2008 to September 2008

The Healthy Walks Programme organised by Brent Sports Service in Gladstone Park continues throughout the year to September 2008.

There are two walks, one every Friday from 1.30pm until 2.30pm and one every Sunday from 10.30am until 11.30am (except Bank Holidays), both meeting at the car park entrance in Dollis Hill Lane. You should plan to arrive 15 minutes before the walk start times. To find your way to Gladstone Park click here.

The walks are at a low moderate pace and are led by a qualified and experienced walk leader, recognisable by their Brent Sports Service clothing comprising of a blue T-shirt/jumper and jacket. Make sure your clothes and footwwear are comfortable and are suitable for the prevailing weather conditions, it is also advisable to take a small bottle of drinking water with you.

After the walk why don't you visit either one of the two "Kamarama Cafes"  one situated in the north of the park in the Stables Courtyard on Dollis Hill Lane or the other in the south of the park situated in the new pavillion at the rear of the Gladstone Centre close to the main entrance by Anson and Kendal Roads. Both cafes offer a good range of fresh coffee and teas plus a high quality array of freshly made sandwiches, organic cakes and snacks. You could also take time to visit the Stables Art Centre and Gallery and view the current exhibition, click here for full details of the programme.
