The 9th Gladstonbury

Live Music Festival & Fun Day

at

London's "Gladstonbury" in  Gladstone Park

 

Parkside, NW2

 

Sunday 21st  June 2009 from 1.00 - 7.30 pm

Sunday the 21st of June will be the regular fantastic mix of live music, funfair, the "Woofstock" dog show and community stalls. Junior 5-aside football with "Gussy" from Roots FM, Tag rugby for kids with Kilburn Cosmos RFC backed up by a Rugby Football Union information bus. A beer tent and a variety of food and drink outlets from around the world. There will also be a "Dr Bikes" area where you can have your cycles checked out by experts, organised by the Brent Transportation Strategy Unit alongside an area where you can try out a variety of cycles FREE OF CHARGE.

 

FREE Rickshaw rides from Dollis Hill Tube Station to Gladstone Park will be provided by "In Wheels We Trust" organised by Brent Transportation Stategy Unit.

 

          

 

Live music on the main stage from 1.00 - 7.30 pm will be presented by Tim McArthur and as usual will be kicked off by our own regular Gladstonbury band of  "Chris Channing's All Stars" playing their own unique style of Rock & Blues.

 

Featuring in the programme will be BBC Jazz Award-winner "Gilad Atzmon", last year's very popular "Lokito Ya Congo" & Irish rock from "The Emerald Dogs".

 

The accoustic stage will be operating from 2.00 - 6.30 pm and will feature many local artists and bands.
